ABOUT US

our story

True Light Christian Assembly was formed in February, 2012, with a small group of Indian malayalee Pentecostal families who gathered together for worship at their own homes. Over the years, our church has grown significantly, and we are dedicated to serve the spiritual needs of the community in the Houston area and beyond. Our calling is straightforward – to offer a welcoming environment where individuals can deepen and grow their relationship with God. As a church, we strive to create a sense of community and provide opportunities for growth through various ministries for both members and visitors. In addition to our efforts to support spiritual growth, we’re also committed to serving our local community through involvement in various local missions in the Houston Area. We’re grateful to sponsor and oversee several mission fields in India and the United States, with the aim of spreading the Gospel message and for serving the broken hearts. Our mission has become the way of life, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a light in the world. As we continue to grow and expand our efforts, we remain committed to our core values to love, service, and faith. We welcome all who seek to deepen their spiritual connection to join us in our ministry to share the Good News with the world.

The core beliefs of True light Christian Assembly are derived from the foundational truths taught in the Bible, and all our teaching and ministry are firmly grounded in these biblical doctrines.

God
We believe in one eternal God who created the universe and exists as three co-equal persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Bible We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 Books, is the inspired word of God, the foundation of faith and hope, the creed of the church, and the ultimate authority for Christian belief and behavior. It is inerrant and infallible in its original writing and surpasses conscience and reasoning.

Salvation Our belief is that Man fell from grace by disobeying God’s Law and can be justified only through faith in Jesus Christ’s incarnation, death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance from sin and belief in His blood (ultimate sacrifice on cross) are the sole means of achieving freedom from sin.
>Separation from Sin We believe that a believer should be separate from sins, false doctrines, and unbiblical worship.

Regeneration We believe in Regeneration through the Holy Spirit and Word of God, and the inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence is a life of righteousness and true holiness for all to see.

Ordinances of Church We believe in two ordinances of the church: water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Lord’s Supper consisting of bread and the fruit of the vine.

Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit as a gift from God, promised by Jesus and in the manifestation of spiritual gifts such as word of wisdom, word of knowledge, healing, prophecy, speaking in and interpretation of tongues.

Evangelization We believe that the church has the supreme duty and privilege of evangelization. We believe that sharing the gospel is a crucial responsibility of every believer and should be done with love, compassion, and respect for others.

Resurrection We believe that Jesus will return soon in the air and take the body of Christ, the Bride, with Him. There will be a resurrection of both the Saved and the Lost, with the Saved having everlasting life and the Lost experiencing everlasting damnation.

Great Tribulation After a great tribulation, Jesus will establish His Kingdom of Righteousness for a thousand years and Satan and his followers will be cast into the lake of fire. A judgment before the Great White Throne will follow, and a new heaven and new earth will appear after the current earth and heaven are burned with fire.
